The letter warns that tighter eligibility, support reductions and delegated assessment settings risk deepening exclusion, shifting more unpaid care onto CALD women, and embedding cultural and linguistic bias in decision-making. It calls for a public gender impact analysis, genuine co-design with CALD women with disability and carers, and safeguards to ensure culturally and linguistically accessible supports are in place before any reforms proceed.
