The Australian Multicultural Women’s Alliance (AMWA) was officially launched at the 2025 National Multicultural Health and Wellbeing Conference in Melbourne on 12th November 2025.
This media release announces AMWA as Australia’s new national voice for multicultural, migrant and refugee women, outlining our purpose, priorities, and the partnerships driving this important work. The Hon Rebecca White MP, Assistant Minister for Women, Health and Aged Care and Indigenous Health provided a short video to support the launch and highlight the importance of AMWA to help inform policy decisions.
